Diezani: Sanusi wanted to be AfDB president but Jonathan’s men frustrated him,releases shocking photos

Diezani Alison-Madueke, immediate past minister of petroleum resources, has revealed that her “good friend”, Muhammad Sanusi II, the Emir of Kano, wanted to be president of African Development Bank (AfDB). She suggested that the former CBN governor could have been angry with her, based on how some people close to Goodluck Jonathan, the former president, frustrated his AfDB ambition.

 Akinwunmi Adesina, former minister for agriculture and rural development, was eventually elected the eight president of the bank in May.

 Alison-Madueke, who is currently battling with cancer, also maintained that Sanusi’s allegations about missing $20bn were false. In an interview with Dele Momodu, publisher of Ovation Magazine and TheBoss newspaper,  Diezani said she never stole any money, challenging her accusers to publish facts.

Fayose blast Obasanjo again ‘for prostrating’ for Buhari

Ayodele Fayose, governor of Ekiti state, has delivered yet another scathing assessment of Olusegun Obasanjo, former president, describing him, this time, as someone who is always “begging for relevance” at the presidential villa. Fayose, who was speaking with journalists on Friday after the Ekiti state house of assembly declared him the ‘leader’ of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), suggested that Obasanjo prostrated for President Muhammadu Buhari during one of his recent visits to the villa. Lives gone just in a flash! A Russian passenger plane crashed Saturday in Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, killing all 224 people aboard. Many of the 224 passengers on flight were Russians returning from vacation. The passenger manifest included 17 children.
